We are now looking for a development-focused and committed Section Manager in Maintenance. In the role, you will work closely with the operations department with the same focus, where processes such as furnaces, sheet metal formatting and more are included. As a section manager at Maintenance Sheet Metal - Finishing, you are responsible for leading, developing and streamlining preventive maintenance and supporting remedial maintenance within one of our maintenance sections. Here you work closely with heat treatment, processes - furnaces, sheet metal formatting and so on. The responsibility is more concentrated towards the same operations department rather than across the whole unit. You work closely with production and plan and follow up maintenance efforts to ensure the availability of our facilities. The role includes personnel responsibility and with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement, you coach, support and develop your team to achieve set goals.

You are also an important part of the strategic improvement work and our projects where you are expected to actively contribute to strengthening operational safety, availability, cost efficiency and sustainability together with your team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a maintenance system with both technicians and performers.
  • Planning, prioritizing and following up maintenance measures - both preventive and emergency remedial.
  • Ensure required availability and high operational reliability for our production facilities.
  • Contribute to driving improvements in safety, quality, deliverability, sustainability and efficiency.
  • Review roles in your organization. coach and develop staff.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering and other functions.
