We are now looking for an instrument technician who, in close cooperation with other functions, works to ensure the safety / operation of our production facilities. With us, you work in a welcoming positive team where we have good communication and help each other. Location Oxelösund.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
You will belong to the central electronics group consisting of 16 employees. You will work with control and regulation equipment and measuring instruments in the Sheet Metal production unit. You are also responsible for preparing and planning work orders for Instrument, together with an electronics technician.
As we are in an expansion phase, you will also participate in projects to develop our parts within control and regulation within the Sheet Metal unit.
In the daily work, you will have a lot of contact with other parts of the organization and external contacts. The team is mixed in age with varied experience and skills and now we are looking for you - our next star who can complement us.
