About the position

As an operational buyer, you work with the operational purchasing process in a cost-effective way. You ensure that buyers receive the right delivery at the right time in accordance with the applicable contracts and conditions. It is also expected that you actively work to reduce the cost level of purchased goods and services to best meet SSAB's needs.

Your main responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of purchase orders, any deviations from supplier
  • Dialogue with customers regarding ongoing orders, contracts and prices
  • Create quotation requests, negotiate, write contracts

About you

  • You have an education with a focus on purchasing or economics
  • If you have experience of previous work in purchasing, this is meritorious
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • You have the ability to analyze and prioritize from a holistic perspective and take your own initiative
  • You have good communication skills and are easy to collaborate with others
