About the position

For Maintenance Steelworks, we are looking for a driven Pipe Welder/Media Operator with expertise in pipes/media, who together with others in the group will work with effective preventive maintenance measures to ensure maximum operational availability of plants and production equipment.

We offer a responsible job with varied tasks and where you get the opportunity to work with a large network of contacts in many technical professions.

The working hours are scheduled during the day.

Your main responsibilities

• Prefabrication of pipes in the workshop and also assembly out in the production plant.
• Replacement of components such as valves, pumps, etc.
• Troubleshooting in the production water system.
• Some rounds in the plant.
• Participate in planning maintenance stops.

About you

• You put safety first both for you and your colleagues.
• You have upper secondary school qualifications or equivalent education in Pipe Welding / Media.
• You have a great drive and ability to solve problems and make your own decisions, but also understand the importance of the group's collective effort to achieve set goals.
• You are technically interested, driven by learning new things and like order and orderliness.
• It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have worked with hydraulics as this competence is also part of the group.
