About the position

In the role of Strategic Operations Technician Heat Treatment & Forming, you will be part of the management team for the Heat Treatment & Forming department together with 4 section managers and 1 strategic plant technician (SAT, focus on maintenance).

Within the department, about 230 employees work with hardening, tempering, checking and formatting sheet metal.

In your role as a strategic operations technician, you work very closely with the department manager and together you ensure that the department achieves its goals. You will have the opportunity to develop and take great responsibility and sometimes replace the department manager.

You will support the departments through a present support and you are expected to handle operational.

Your main responsibilities

• Daily management where safety, health, quality and productivity are the main focus.
• You have no budget responsibility but are expected to participate and support the budget process cost follow-up.
• You will be active in the development of the processes with the support of surrounding support functions such as finance, operational planning, process development, maintenance organization and product development.
• You will take an active role in the work with investments and can participate in both projects and steering groups but also support clients to write mission descriptions and follow up investments.

• You are curious and driven and are not afraid to try new things.
• We would like to see that you have previously worked with leadership or equivalent experience as this is a natural part of your mission in the improvement work.
