As a property maintenance technician, you will play a key role in planning and ensuring the maintenance of our properties, mainly in production facilities. You work in a technology-intensive industrial environment where safety is always the top priority.

Your area of responsibility includes properties at SSAB area Oxelösund. You work independently but have a close collaboration with your colleague who performs the maintenance work. You are also part of a network of technician colleagues with similar roles, where you exchange experiences and support each other during, for example, vacations.

The role also includes contributing with your expertise in construction projects, in collaboration with our construction project managers.

The position is full-time with working hours during the day.

Your main responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for planning the maintenance of the areas you work with and you will also perform some remedial and preventive maintenance on these areas.
  • You will participate in the budget work in your area of responsibility.

  • Driving license minimum class B is required for this position.
  • Additional knowledge is
  • Experience in maintenance and management
  • Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of property maintenance and experience of maintenance work in general
  • The maintenance system IFS8
  • Knowledge of HVAC
