The opportunity

Power & Industry Components, a business unit within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, consists of Surge Arresters and Capacitors. At Surge Arresters in Ludvika we produce and sell valve arresters. New products are developed here and the markets are both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. A surge arrester protects against overvoltages and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system. At Capacitors we finalize customized medium and high voltage capacitors for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering and manufacture DC capacitors for HVDC applications worldwide.

As we are now in an expansion phase and expanding our production, we are looking for a supply and material handler to join our team at Capacitors. As a warehouse and material handler, you are responsible for, among other things, receiving goods and handling materials in stock for production. The position is initially daytime but will eventually change to two shifts with weekends. To succeed in the role, you should be careful and structured and enjoy working both independently and in groups. With us, you get a fun and energetic work with many contacts in daily work.

How you will affect

  • You are responsible for receiving goods, loading and checking received materials.
  • Your tasks will also be handling materials in stock such as order picking, inventory, taking care of materials and replenishment of materials to various production departments.
  • The work will also involve driving counterbalance trucks and articulated trucks.
  • You share Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • You have a truck driver's license for counterbalance trucks and articulated trucks.
  • As a person, we see that you are structured, flexible and can take great responsibility.
  • We see that you are communicative and appreciate working both independently and in groups.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
  • It is meritorious if you have previous experience of truck driving and previous experience of working in a warehouse.
  • It is also meritorious if you have experience of the SAP business system.

As a person, you are careful and have a structured way of working and keep order and order around you. You are organized and driven, and have a desire to develop.
